About us

helping people find and follow jesus

That's the whole mission. Grow Church is a community in the heart of London learning to love God, love people and love our city — and there's a seat for you.

Our story
People connecting over coffee after a Grow Church service

it started in a living room

Grow Church began in 2019 with a handful of friends, an open Bible and far too much coffee. No stage, no sound system — just a conviction that church is not a program or a building. It's people.

Today we gather every Sunday at The Grow Centre and in Grow Groups across the city all week long. The rooms have changed; the conviction hasn't.

Whatever your story — faith, doubt, questions, all three — you're welcome here exactly as you are.

What we value

the things we won't compromise

jesus at the centre

Everything we do starts and ends with Jesus — His life, His words, His grace. We're not building a brand; we're following a person.

people over programs

Church is relationships, not routines. We'd rather have a slow conversation than a slick production.

everyone gets to grow

Nobody's a spectator. From your first Sunday there's a next step — a group, a course, a team, a friendship.

for our city

London isn't our mission field — it's our home. We serve it, pray for it and want to see it flourish.

Lead Pastors

Sam and Rachel planted Grow Church in 2019. They love London, long walks along the river, and watching people take their first steps of faith.

Community & Groups

Marcus leads Grow Groups and makes sure nobody stands in the lobby alone. He is powered almost entirely by jollof rice and encouragement.

Grow Kids & Safeguarding

Ellie leads our kids ministry and safeguarding. Trained, DBS-checked and quite possibly the reason your kids will beg to come back on Sunday.

What we believe

good news, simply put

We're a Bible-believing, historically orthodox Christian church. We believe in one God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that Jesus lived, died and rose again so that everyone can be forgiven and made new; and that the church is God's family, sent to love and serve the world.

We hold these convictions with confidence and our opinions with humility. Got questions? We love questions — ask us anything, or better, come and ask in person over coffee on a Sunday.
